UV Protective Information - The important bit

All of our UV sunsuits are made from the highest quality ultra violet protective fabrics sourced from Australia and Italy. Each colour has already passed the original Australian/New Zealand UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) standard no: AS/NZS 4399.1996.

Each fabric rates 50+UPF. This is the maximum rating possible for anti sun burn fabric, blocking 98% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays.

At last Europe and the UK are also realising the importance of sun safety, and we now have a European standard EN 13758-2. Enabling consumers to choose garments which clearly carry the official standard number and rating.

Sam & Sid test each colour in the UK to the new European standard and can proudly say that each colour has again achieved the highest rating of 50+UPF. Each of our outfits is labelled with the new European Standard number and more information on sun protection.
